Hallock has had a long career in the design and marketing from direct mail to the computer technology industry. Most recently, Hallock served as Director of Marketing for Westbrook Technologies, Inc. Hallock managed and directed the marketing efforts for this award-winning software developer specializing in document management solutions. Overseeing product launches, market research, competitive intelligence, event planning, customer profiling, brand awareness, reseller development and public relations concerns. Leading website design and search engine optimization programs, and successful launched media and public relations campaigns surrounding the firms SOA venture.
Prior to Westbrook, Hallock was at Gartner, overseeing the content management of Gartner's web site. In addition, to this, he served as Director of Creative Services for 4SURE.com, an Internet - based technology reseller. For five years, he was the Director of Publishing for Micro Warehouse's Data Comm division. Mitchell has been involved with projects for IBM, 3M, AmeriTech, American Airlines and USI, Inc. In all, Mitchell has spent years overseeing the creative services and contributing to the marketing functions to support business objectives, directly impacting the bottom line. Along the way he has guided the marketing efforts from emerging, mid-size firms to established, multi-billion dollar organizations.

But when it came to marrying his marketing and advertising talent with his lifelong love of comic books, Hallock truly excelled, In 2010, Hallock was hired as publicity director for a local comic convention in Connecticut. In 2012, he began to produce and organize the event which grew larger year after year, and he moved it into larger venues to accommodate the crowds. In August 2015, Hallock announced TERRIFICON ® at the Mohegan Sun and it's reputation for being a TRUE comic con has spread throughout the professional and fan community. And in 2017, he satisfied the Gaming community of Connecticut with the new show - CTGAMERCON™!
Hallock's creativity knows no limits - he is an award winning illustrator, television producer and photographer. In his spare time, Mitchell has also written many short stories, scripts, and screenplays and is a current member of the Writers Guild of America.
Hallock can be heard on Connecticut's #1 Morning Radio show - CHAZ and AJ on 99.1 WPLR where he is known as "THE KING OF THE NERDS" commenting on genre related TV shows, movies, comic cons, video games and more! In addition, he does his own weekly podcast; "The Power Cosmic" Podcast with famed comic and toy collector, John Cimino. And since 2007, he has written the content and served as news writer for the world's #1 Indiana Jones website - TheRaider.net and a regular correspondent on the "IndyCast" podcast with Ed Dolista. Hallock's love for Indiana Jones went even further when he appeared on Kevin Smith's "Comic Book Men" in season four, dressed as the famed archaeologist and treasure hunter. When not producing fan favorite conventions, Hallock can be found reading comic books in Newtown, Connecticut at Cave Comics or walking his dog Harley Quinn. He has two very patient sons and an even more patient wife who indulges his never-ending childhood.
