Gov. Ned Lamont issued an official proclamation declaring Aug. 8–10 as "Terrificon Days" in the state of Connecticut — recognizing the convention's 10th anniversary at Mohegan Sun and honoring it as "a cornerstone event celebrating comic books, pop culture, and the talents of artists and writers from around the globe."
